Dr. Maryam Assadi
Dr. Maryam Assadi moved to the US with her family  in 1983 and upon graduating from Clear Lake High School, TX moved to California where she received her undergraduate degrees  in both History and Criminal Justice from California State University, Fullerton.  Having come from a holistic and medical background with one grandfather who was a Pharmacist, and another who was a Naturopath, a father who
is among other things an Herbologist, and a brother and sister who
are both Nurses, Chiropractic was a natural path for her to pursue.
Chiropractic was in alignment with her philosophy of natural health
and the ability of the body to heal itself from within without the
use of unnecessary and harmful drugs.  She attended Cleveland
Chiropractic College, Los Angeles where she excelled both
academically and clinically becoming an honors intern and
graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Dr. Assadi’s practice is all about gentle and low force rehabilitation
and focuses on the health and well being of children, families,
pregnant women, elderly, and those in between.  Her forte is disc herniations or any disc lesions, in particular the tough cases no other Doctor wants to touch.  Her passion is to educate people about the benefits of Chiropractic care and its important role in maintenance and preventative health.  Chiropractic care and the care of the spine, which houses the spinal cord, part of the Nervous System, is very important in the strength of the immune system and should be started at birth.  Some children receive their very first subluxation at birth by being yanked out of the mother either through the use of foreceps or just rough handling of their head/neck by the doctors.  Children as young as 3 years old may get headaches as a result of misalignments in their spine.  She loves Children and has a pediatric practice also.

In addition to her private practice, Dr. Assadi enjoys volunteer work raising cancer awareness, close to her heart having lost both her maternal grandmother and mother to breat cancer, through programs such as American Cancer Society Relay for Life, the Salvation Army, Meals on Wheels and Children’s Cancer Center.

She loves to spend time with her husband, whom she has known since they were both 9 years old, and 6 years old son.  She is an avid reader, loves to travel and explore different cultures, enjoys playing Tennis, Soccer, and loves camping, hiking and the great outdoors.

She LOVES Chiropractic, LOVES her patients even more and uses the latest technology available to care for her patients with intelligence, genuine warmth and compassion helping families live healthier, drug-free, surgery-free lives.
